Irvin "Buddy" Eugene Wiser

Irvin Eugene “Buddy” Wiser, 82, of Beaumont/Devers, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025. He was born on September 14, 1943, in Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, to the late Irvin Cyril Wiser and Mary Ethel (Mayer) Wiser.

Buddy made Southeast Texas his home in 1963 and built a life filled with dedication, service, and love. He was a proud Mason of Lodges 1165/286, a devoted member of the Eastern Star, and an active participant in the Shriners. His commitment to these organizations reflected his deep values of brotherhood, service, and community.

Above all else, Buddy cherished his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Janet Wiser.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca Wiser of Beaumont; his children, Darrin Wiser of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Donnie Wiser of Porter, Allen Atwood of Beaumont, and Wendy Wiser-Morin and husband Rene of Pearland; his sisters, Dottie Richardson and husband Willis of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Gloria Morrison and her late husband Bill of Bel Air, Maryland, and Stephanie Noye and husband Terry of Bel Air, Maryland.

Papa Buddy was a proud grandfather to Colby Morin, Bailey Morin, Julie Wiser, Nicholas Wiser, Chloe Wiser, Maddie Wiser, Brody Atwood, and Alex Atwood. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of dear friends who will remember his kind heart and enduring presence.

Buddy’s legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the family he loved so deeply, and the many memories shared with all who knew him.
