

James Marvin Kirby III, also know as Jimmy, Little Jimmy, Jim or Uncle Jimmy. He was born April 22, 1973. He attended West Brook High School, class of 1991. He graduated from Lamar University with a nursing degree. He was a smart, skilled Registered Nurse for many years. He was a strong passionate caregiver that cared for his patients with such purpose. He was a force in life, larger than life with a huge heart. He was a loving son, a caring brother, and a proud uncle and Godfather. He loved the Houston Rockets and the Astros. He loved all kinds of music. He knew everything about many genres and musicians. He loved his friends and family and would always have their back no matter what. He is survived by his mother, Suzanne Tew Simmons, his father and step-mother, James Marvin Kirby Jr and Kay Kirby, his brother Chad Earl Kirby Sr and sister-in-law, Noel Kirby, his step-siblings, Mike & Matt Sheffield and Julie Nielsen Harris, his niece and Goddaughter, Reece Lavelle Kirby, nephew, Chad Earl Kirby Jr. and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and family friends. He was a Christian and was called home to those pearly gates of heaven and met his Maker on November 9, 2021. Fly High with the angels, Jimmy Kirby. Rest in Peace. Much Love Always and Forever!
