Jean Herrington, 91, a forty-six year resident of Beaumont coming from Denver City, Texas passed away on Tuesday December 20, 2016 in Beaumont. Jean was born on January 9, 1925 in Ralls, Texas to her parents Ira James Chote and Mamie Bennett Chote who preceded her in death. She was Baptist by faith and attended Calder Baptist Church in Beaumont. Jean was homemaker who enjoyed cooking, playing card games, dominoes, and spending quality time with her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband; Doyle Herrington, two brothers, son-in-law; Charles Meek, daughter-in-law; Suzie Herrington.
Jean is survived by her daughter; Mamie Meek of Austin, sons; Jimmy Herrington and wife Paula of Beaumont, Tommy Herrington of Beaumont, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday December 23, 206 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
