A longtime resident of Beaumont, Jeannene was a self-employed hot dog vendor in Jacksonville, Fl., for many years before moving back home to Beaumont.
Jeannene was very talented. She could sew, cook, decorate, and create stained glass works of art. She loved searching thrift stores and decorating her living space with her finds. Jeannene also had a green thumb. For entertainment options, she got a big kick out of watching TV documentaries and YouTube videos. Football was on her radar too; cheering for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys. To top it all off, she watched enthusiastically as her grandson Clint grew seemingly before her very eyes from a baby into a very intelligent and active little boy.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Jeannene was preceded in death by her parents Dally and Hilda Walker and by her brother Stephen Walker.
Jeannene is survived by her son Mason Ball, and his wife Michele of Lake City, Fl., daughters Arikka Morrell and her husband Frank Morrell of Beaumont, and Nicole Ball of Jacksonville, Fl., and her sister Dana Gabriel and her husband Bon Gabriel of Missouri City, TX., and by her grandchildren Clint Morrell, Chandler Parish and Melina Parish both of Lake City, FL.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nursing staff of Best Hospice Care of Texas. They lovingly cared for Jeannene. She looked forward to their home visits and Jeannene was quick to brag about them.
Jeannene loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
