Jerry Lee Day, 76, of Lumberton, died Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Sweeney Village Creek Rehab and Nursing Home in Lumberton. A native and longtime resident of Beaumont, he moved to Lumberton 2 years ago. Jerry was a retired Glazier with Ameraproducts. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Jerry loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, watching old westerns, reading books by his favorite author Louis L'Amour, but his all time favorite hobby was any and all forms of racing, especially NHRA Drag Races.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Jiles and Martha Day and his brother Jiles David Day.
Jerry is survived by his brother Jeffrey Day and his wife Lisa of Crystal Beach, special friends Susan Meitzen, Jessica Meitzen, Hunter Bradford, Brooklynn Myers, and Gibson Myers all of Lumberton.
Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
