Joe Kirby Herndon, 81, of Katy, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Katy. Joe was born on June 14, 1935 in Houston, Texas to Kirby and Lottie Herndon. He was a member of AA for 43 years. Joe is survived by his loving wife, Linda Faye Herndon of Katy; sons, Brian Kirby Herndon of Rockwell, Richard Doiron of Beaumont, Christopher Doiron of Brampton, Ontario, Canada, Zach Doiron of Oakwood; daughter, Julie Walker of Tomball; sister, Frances Shepherd of Fayetville, Arkansas; Sister in Law, Tina Hatcher and her husband Scott of Katy; 12 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren 2 Nieces, and 2 Nephews.
