John Wesley Apgar, 43, of Vidor died Sunday, January 12, 2025 at his residence. A native of Cincinnati, OH., he has lived in Vidor for 10 years, and was a welder. John enjoyed working on cars, he was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
John was preceded in death by his father Emmett Apgar, and his aunts Carol Moore, and Julie Fisher.
John is survived by his loving wife Tara Apgar of Vidor, son Christopher Hemmenway of Buna, daughter Anna Apgar of Vidor, sisters Angel Chapman and her husband Charles of Murango, IN., Shannon Bringhurst and her husband Robert of Key West, FL., and Tina Tincher and her husband Tim of Cincinnati, OH., mother Tina Leopold Fitzgerald of Cincinnati, OH., aunt Chris Pierre of Gray LA., uncle James Vernon Apgar and his wife Kathy of Frostproof, FL., and David "Dutch" Apgar of Vidor.
