John Louis Cooper, 59, of New Caney, died Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at his residence. A native of Decatur, Ga., he has lived in lived in New Caney for 5 years and was owner-operator of Triple 888 Vending Company. John enjoyed working and was a Houston Rockets Fan.
A Celebration of John's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home of Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home of Beaumont.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents June Johnson and by his name sake John Louis and Doris Cooper his step-grandmother Lilo Bryant.
John was survived by his mother Betty Wheeler and step-father Gerald of Beaumont, step son Peter Cerritos, Jr and his wife Alyssa of Magnolia, TX., step daughter Ambar Rodriguez of Houston, grandfather Harry G. Bryant of Tampa, FL., brother Michael Cooper and his wife Kristina of Porter, TX., and by his grandson Peter Cerritos III of Magnolia, TX.
John will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
