Jose Hector Cruz Jr., age 28, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Tuesday January 22, 2019. Jose was born May 11, 1990 to Maria Esabelle Cardoso and Jose Hector Cruz.

Jose is survived by his wife, Nancy Rocha Cruz; son Javier Cortez; father Jose Hector Cruz Sr. and mother Maria Isabel Cardoso; sister Karla Cruz; grandfather Pablo De La Cruz, grandmother Diana Moralez and grandmother Maria Delores Cardoso.

Jose loved spending time with his wife and family including cooking his famous ribs on the grill. He enjoyed his work and had a passion for gardening and being outdoors.

A gathering to share memories of Jose will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, A celebration of Jose's life will occur Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 4955 Pine, Beaumont, Texas 77703. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
