Joyce Ann Savoie, 72, of Vidor, and a longtime resident of Beaumont, passed away on Sunday July 26, 2015 in Nederland. Joyce was born on November 2, 1942 in Jeanerette, Louisiana to her parents Harold J. and Eloise Rogers Savoie who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her sister Evelyn Savoie.
She retired from the City of Beaumont after many years of dedicated service as a Detective Division Clerk. Mrs. Savoie enjoyed fishing, crocheting, and especially taking care of all the grand nieces and nephews.
Surviving Joyce are her sister Pat Holden and husband John of Vidor, three nephews, Aaron Young and wife Laurie, Alan Young and wife Wendy, and Damon Young and wife Michelle. Also surviving are five grand nieces and nephews, Desiree Young, Madeline Young, Cryslynn Young, Austin Young, and Camden Young.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 10:00 A.M.
