JB grew up in Beaumont graduating in 1966 from South Park High School. After short stints with The US Postal Service and Beaumont’s First National Bank, JB found a home with Southwestern Bell, retiring after 31 years of service.
JB married Ray Bourque in October 1966, having their first child, Paul, in April of 1968. Of the things she loved the most, #1 was watching and being involved with Paul’s baseball prowess. Also at the top of her list were special times with family; spending holidays with the Houston cousins, being “Nanny” to a myriad of nieces & nephews, excepting a surrogate Mom role for niece Stacy (Houston) Lewis and being Nanny to grandniece Megan McLehany
She was preceded in death by her mother & father, daughter Renee and son Mark. She is survived by her husband Ray Bourque, son Paul Bourque, granddaughter Ashley, brothers Chuck Houston and Jackie Aucoin and 5 great grandchildren.
