Karla Lan O’Fiel will be remembered as a woman whose beauty radiated from the inside out, defined not only by her kindness but by the boundless love she gave so freely to everyone around her. She possessed one of the biggest hearts anyone could ever know—selfless, compassionate, and endlessly giving.
Karla rarely put herself first. Instead, she devoted her life to caring for others, always willing to lend a hand, a listening ear, or whatever was needed. She would give without hesitation, ensuring that no one around her ever went without. Her generosity knew no limits, and her actions spoke volumes about the depth of her character.
Family meant everything to Karla. She loved deeply and completely, embracing not only her parents, spouse, siblings, children, and grandchildren, but also friends who quickly became family in her eyes. To Karla, family was anyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She had a remarkable gift for connecting with others—able to meet a stranger and make them feel as though they had known her their entire life.
Her nurturing spirit touched countless lives. Karla cared for everyone she encountered, offering comfort, encouragement, and unwavering support. She was the kind of person who showed up—at every sporting event, every celebration, and every meaningful moment. She stood proudly on the sidelines of others’ lives, always cheering them on and lifting them higher.
Above all, Karla was a devoted and loving mother—the very best anyone could ever ask for. Her love was constant, her presence reassuring, and her absence will be deeply felt in every place she once filled with warmth.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and connection that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten.
Karla is survived by her sons, Matthew O'Fiel and his wife Brittany, Patrick O’Fiel and his wife Misty; three grandchildren, namely, Mattilyn O'Fiel, Sean O'Fiel, Seth O'Fiel, brother David Fairchild; nieces and nephews, Carrie Neal, Phillip Massey, R.C.
