Kathleen Sheppeard Taylor

Kathleen Belle Taylor was born Dec 27 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed to her eternal home on Feb 1, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A Taylor, son Robert A Taylor Jr and son Michael D Taylor.

Kathy was an avid traveler for years with many trips taken with her beloved husband. They traveled Europe, many mountainous states, and loved adventurous Fall foliage trips. She traveled often with her mother and daughter Diana.

In her younger years she enjoyed photography, videography and ceramics. Working with her beautiful houseplants gave her great enjoyment and she liked to show them off.

Her pies and baked goods were her family’s favorites and her pies were most often requested. She shared her cooking with many friends and family. Kathy had a big heart ad was very generous...she was a true giver. She was a true giver of her of her opinion and advice. Those of you who knew her well were probably receivers of her advice and opinions frequently.

She was a member of Grace and Truth church for over 40 years and adored her Pastor Bro Bell and Sis Bell, the church and church family.

She is survived by her daughter Diana Medford, and her husband James Craig Medford, granddaughters, Shelly Lout, Laura Keller, Leah Westmoreland, grandson Allen Taylor, and many great- grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces.

She loved her family deeply without measure.

She was so deeply affected by all the deaths in her life especially her mother's. She talked of her often along with her husband and sons. Today she is happily reunited with them after all the years of missing them and longing for them. She often posted pictures with "glad reunion day soon" … Well mom here it is….
