A native of Richmond, CA., he was a longtime resident of Vidor, and was a retired truck driver. Lee proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Lee enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, watching old westerns, spending time with his family, supporting his Houston Astros, but especially spoiling his grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Lee was preceded in death by his loving wife Kay Yeager, and his parents, Philip and Marjorie Yeager.
Lee is survived by his son Steven Yeager and his wife Glenda of Orange, daughters, Heather Clayton and her husband Brian of Mauriceville, and Kristyn Sanders and her husband Brandon of Sour Lake, brothers, John Yeager and his wife Beverly of Houston, Alan Yeager and his wife Robbie of Charleston, MS., sisters, Fay Williams and her husband Woody of Venice, FL., Susan Gabler and her husband Barry of Milford, DE., and by his grandchildren, Ryan Davenport, Kalea, Megan, Hannah, and Cannon Clayton, Johnathan and Christopher Yeager, Braxton and Braydon Sanders.
Lee will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
