Mark Edwin Smith

Mark Edwin Smith 57, a lifelong resident of Beaumont, passed away on Tuesday May 3, 2016 in Beaumont. Mark was born on February 3, 1959 in Beaumont, Texas to his parents Edwin and Anita LaCour Smith. He was preceded in death by his father Edwin Smith. He was Christian and attended Church Alive in Lumberton. Mark was an iron worker for Gulfco. During his spare time he enjoyed life outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, and just being by a camp fire. He also enjoyed listening to country music and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Mark is survived by his daughter; Marsha Smith of Beaumont, his loving mother; Anita Smith of Beaumont, step-daughter; Jennifer Rios and husband David of San Antonio, four brothers; Mike Smith and wife Dovie of Beaumont, Frank Smith and wife Melinda of Lufkin, Kevin Smith and wife Rachel of Houston, Cary Smith and wife Michelle of Boulder, Colorado, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 6, 2016 beginning at 12:00 Noon until the funeral service time of 2:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
