

Mary Alice Savant, 68, a lifelong resident of Beaumont, passed away on Tuesday June 28, 2016 surrounded by her family at her home in Beaumont. Mary was born on December 1, 1947 in Beaumont, Texas to her parents Birchman and Mary Bergeron Bourque who preceded her in death. She was a Catholic and attended Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Beaumont. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling, fishing, and playing various games at home with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years James Savant, Sr. of Beaumont, son; Jimi Savant, Jr. and wife Christina of Sour Lake, daughters; Lisa Davis and husband Robert of Lumberton, Deborah Savant-Heartfield of Beaumont, brothers; Ray Bourque and wife Julia Beth of Beaumont, James Bourque and wife Pam of Lumberton, Michael Bourque of Trinity, Texas, sisters; Betty Tullier and husband B.J. of Beaumont, Gloria Roy of Nederland, and Rita Ramsay of Nederland, six grandchildren; Joseph Savant-Davis, Gwydion Davis, Elrick Davis, Monica Savant, Alexis Gallier, and Leighton Savant.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Tuesday July 5, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Beaumont.
