Merle L. Nail, 85, of Beaumont, died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Summer's Place in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Merle was a homemaker. Merle graduated from South Park High School, she loved to travel and was able to visit 16 different states and also visited Mexico many times.
Merle had a great personality, she could get along with anybody. She has a great Stamp Collection. She also collected salt & pepper shakers for many years. Merle loved to read, and enjoyed the works of Clive Cussler, David Baldacci, Lynette Eason, and C.J. Box. Merle was always there for her family, she enjoyed cooking, and her pies were out of this world.
A Celebration of Life Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, with Father McCrate officiating.
Merle was preceded in death by Elmer and Louise Clarke, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Lee Clarke, Ruth Patten, Grace Palmer, Juanita Diaz, Mary Erlene Nolan, Dolores Jones, Barbara and Jack Bates, Zefrino Diaz and Isabell Diaz, and Harvey Plummer.
Merle is survived by Yolanda Schrader, Charlie Schrader, Richard Woods, and Terry Bennett.
In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made in Merle's honor to, Wounded Soldier Fund, and the Local Humane Society.
