I first met Miriam at Junior High School, when we had a choir class together. She sang behind me. She never could carry a tune, but she sure could carry the Greenie spirit, which was more important. I loved her spirit, tenacity, and willingness to keep us Greenies all connected. I will miss her. Thank you, Miriam for all your work on our behalf.

I don't even know where to begin. In my 18 years at Beaumont Transit, I talked to Miriam hundreds of times. Always with a kind word, she will forever be one of my favorites. The world has lost a truly great woman & heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Her presence and her radiant smile will be missed by many. Rest in Paradise my friend.

Miss Iris, and all of Miriam's family,

I am so sorry to learn of Miriam's death. We lost her way too early.

One of my favorite memories of Miriam, from Pipkin
Street days, is of her coming over to my house and
going up in the attic (after my Dad had put in the
disappearing stairs) to play with my electric train, which
I had set up on the floor.

I also really enjoyed reconnecting with Miriam at our
last few reunions. She was a Greenie through and through!!

If I were there, I'd give you all the biggest, longest
hug EVER. Just know you're in my heart, my thoughts,
and my prayers.

With love,
North Platte, Nebraska
