Nannie Dell Barron

Nannie Dell Barron, age 96 passed away at her residence in Seabrook Texas on Sunday, August 14, 2011. Blessed daughter of Thomas Crumpton and Hettie Viola Spence. Loving mother of Charles Barron and wife Jane, Ann Brisendine, Nancy Adams, Debbie Griffith, and Elaine Hess and husband Joe. She was preceded in death by her children, Grace Lee, Rose Shows, and Martha Saleme; two brothers, a sister, and two grandchildren. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, her 32 great grandchildren, and her 16 great-great grandchildren. She was a devoted and loving pet owner of Sasha for many years.

She was a longtime member at the Highlands United Methodist Church. In her past time she enjoyed reading, sewing, and going to casinos, but she enjoyed her family most. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 17, 2011 at 12 to 2 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, Texas. A service will follow at 2 pm in the chapel. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, Texas. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Highlands Methodist Church, 107 Houston Street, Highlands Texas 77562.
