Norma Jean Williams

Norma Jean Williams, age 70, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 in Beaumont, TX. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Reg Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Norma was born on March 30, 1943 in the Beaumont, TX to the late D.J. and Vernice Simon Venable. She was a long time member of Praise Christian Center, where she participated in a food ministry. Norma enriched the lives of all who knew her, with her loving spirit.

She is survived by her husband, Dudley Williams of Lumberton, TX. Two sons, George Spears and wife Cheryl and Eric Spears and wife Peggy. Two daughters , Terry Grantz and husband Lee and Stacey Courts and husband Lonnie. Her step children, Richard Williams, Regina Whisenhant and April Reed and husband Ed. Two brothers, Jimmie Venable and wife Jeanette and Herman Venable and wife Margaret. Three sisters, Aledia Faye Metz and husband Bill, Diana Nixon, and JoAnn Tarbutton. Fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to the building fund of Praise Christian Center, 8325 Walker Road, Beaumont, Texas 77713, in memory of Norma Williams.
