Norman F McLeod

Norman Frances McLeod, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Beaumont, Texas. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Westgate Baptist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Mr. McLeod was born in Harmony, Mississippi on April 10, 1928 to the late Henry G. & Marguerite Edna Red McLeod. He graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering. He worked from a chemical engineer to production manager, vice president of production with Uniroyal and finally becoming President of Ameripol Sympol in Port Neches, from which he retired in 1993. After retirement he served as a deacon for Westgate Memorial Baptist Church in Beaumont.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six siblings; Raymond McLeod, Jess Pennington, Roger McLeod, Innis McLeod, Harold McLeod and Byron McLeod.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline A. McLeod and three children; Teresa McLeod (Terri), Vicky McLeod and Douglas McLeod. Siblings; Margaret Rhodes, Wiley McLeod, Thomas McLeod and Dot Bell. Grandchildren; Michael McLeod, Matthew Badon, Travis Badon, Lauren Badon, Justin Badon, Sarah Badon and Benjamin Badon. Great grandchildren; Presley Efferson, Cambrie Badon, Brock Badon and Payton Efferson.
