

Dick was born August 24, 1934 to Clem and Ida Revia in Beaumont. He married Dolores Miller on July 25, 1959 in Raton, NM. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later owned Revia Construction. Dick was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses , Silsbee, West Congregation. He enjoyed gardening, volunteering his time to others in need and had helped with the construction work on several Kingdom Halls in the area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Murcil Whitmire; a brother, Alford Clem Revia and a step brother, Casey Revia.
His survivors include his wife, Dolores, of Lumberton; 3 sons, Kurt Gregory Revia and wife Norma of Lumberton, Richard Charles Revia of Greensville, NC, Ryan Walter Revia of Lumberton; brother, Johnny Revia, Sr. and wife Kathleen of Vidor; sister, Melba Duke of Silsbee; 3 granddaughters, Nina Rivers and husband Nathan, Kimberly Ford, Bonnie Revia; great granddaughter, Aubri Rivers and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the “Garden of Hope” Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
