Raymond was born on December 4, 1962, in Beaumont, Texas, to Alene Louise (Rutledge) Gallier and the late Ray Raphael Gallier. A true jack of all trades, Raymond was a handyman who could fix just about anything he put his hands on. Known as “the local lawnmower guru” around his neighborhood, he was always willing to lend his skills to help others.
Raymond learned to play the guitar at a young age and was a talented musician who found joy in music throughout his life. He also enjoyed fishing and raising chickens; simple pleasures that reflected his love for the outdoors and hands-on living.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Gallier; his twin infant daughters, Julie and Rachel; and his brother, Albert “Mo” Gallier.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Kelly; his mother, Alene; his children, Sarah, Kyle and wife Megan, and Leighia; step children, Amber, Kara, Justin; his grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb, Jaxon, Colton, Raylan, Aiden, Aubrie, and Adalyn; step grandchildren, Leighton, Millie, Stone, Braylon, Eli; his siblings, Debra and husband Bill, Linda, Jeff and wife Susan, and David and wife Liz; along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Cremation services will be held under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
