Rebecca Sue Tello, age 74, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 11, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Pauline and Harry V. Garza Sr.
Rebecca was a woman of many talents, but her true passion was found in the kitchen. She possessed a remarkable skill for cooking, delighting her family and friends with her delicious meals. However, her greatest joy came from being a grandmother. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren; they were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment with them.
A devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rebecca found solace and strength in her faith. She attended church services and mass regularly, finding comfort in the teachings of her religion.
Professionally, Rebecca dedicated many years of her life to Rogers Enterprises, Tony's Drive-in, and Dos Amigas before retiring. Her hard work and dedication left a lasting impact on all those she encountered throughout her career.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pauline and Harry V. Garza Sr., her siblings, Daniel Garza, Gloria Martinez, Marcela Renteria, and Harry V. Garza Jr. She is survived by her two loving sons, Chalo Torres and Eric Tello, her dear sister Mary Garza, her adoring grandchildren, along with one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of Focused Care at Summer Place in Beaumont, Texas, for the unwavering love, care, and compassion they showed to Rebecca during her time with them.
Rebecca Sue Tello will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
