Funeral services for Richard Hegele Sr., of Beaumont, were held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at
Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Richard was born on August 15, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas to
William & Annie Hegele and passed away September 20, 2012 in Beaumont. He was a retired Plumber
from Local 68. Richard was a proud veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52
years Lera Hegele. Survivors include his Son, Richard Hegele Jr. of Beaumont; Daughters Brenda Weir
and her husband Terry of Montgomery, Penny Hobbs and her husband Robert of Beaumont; Sister,
Pandora Brooke; Grandchildren, Holly Sawyer, Brian Hobbs, Elizabeth Maurer; Great Granddaughter,
Libby Sawyer.
