Rest in Peace Richard "Pappy" Hill, you earned it. You fought for your country, worked hard for your family and certainly made your mark Hunting and Fishing!
You will be missed by all who were lucky enough to walk through this life with you.

I only knew you for a short time, but in that time you always made me feel welcome in your home. It seemed you were use to many a person, camping on your doorstep!

You were a good cook! I loved it when Kim and I worked late and came home to some of the best shrimp I have ever eaten! (The pots and pans, dirty in the sink, a sure sign you had been cooking!)

Richard was old school, firm but fair. His personality was huge, and he had an amazing story for every gathering! He could sure make you laugh!

Your memories will live on through your Family and Friends,as they share your wonderful stories and adventures. Never doubt that all the kids that called you PAPPY, love you, just as you loved each and everyone of them!

My deepest condolences go out to each and every family member.
My husband and myself had the pleasure of knowing Richard for about five years . We camped in the same spot at the hunting lease . We shared many nights around the campfire laughing so hard our sad would hurt him .
It was an honor and a privilege to have known Richard. He will never be forgotten, his memory will live on with us at the Deer Lease always.
Rest in peace my friend until we meet again.

You have such a special place in my heart. You and meme practically raised me as one of their own grandkids. I used to LOVE the times I would be over with Victoria and meme and everything was calm and quiet until you came walking through that door always picking fights with meme as if it was a fun game to you. I have never met someone who could make you so angry, then rolling on the floor laughing in the matter of two seconds. Even meme couldn’t stay mad at you long.

I will cherish any and every memory I have with you growing up! I pray you know how much I love you!

Until we meet again Pappy, give Kristie a hug and a kiss from me (:

Richard and Kim were staying at the beach this summer and me and my husband Billy decided to go visit them. So we loaded up the side by side and went down. They had been there about 2 months. Richard had been fishing, and just enjoying life! When we got there me and Kim decided we were going to go hunt for sea glass, so we all loaded up, me and kim in her side by side and Billy and Richard in ours. Me and Kim are in our own little world, talking and laughing and hunting sea glass. Meanwhile in the other side by side Richard is telling Billy. . I'm so glad your here so i can have someone to talk to besides Kim! Seriously Richard? We have laughed and laughed about that! Sure gonna miss your humor Richard!
