Richard was a simple gentleman. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army, and afterwards he worked as an independent carpenter. Richard was a history buff, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in the subject.
Richard is survived by his best friend Wayne Rose and wife Sharon, and was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Barbara Hooks.
Richard will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
