Ronnie was the youngest of two children born to Jack and Bessie Turner. After graduating from Beaumont High School, he entered the moving business, establishing Able Moving and Storage, where he served as the owner and operator for many years until his retirement, when he passed the family business to his son.
Ronnie had a true gift of salesmanship and a keen sense of humor, with the ability to make others laugh.
Ronnie lived a full and blessed life with a deep love for his wife, children, and grandchildren. Earlier in life, he enjoyed coaching his sons' Little League, raising quarter horses, teaching his daughter about horses, traveling and embracing new adventures with his wife, a round of golf now and then, and, like many young men of this ERA, he loved fast cars! Always an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, whom he never gave up on.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Calvin Turner, Sr., Bessie Turner, brother, Jack Calvin Turner, Jr, mother-in-law, Earline Pool, and father-in-law, Roy Pool.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Turner, son, Kevin Turner, and daughter, Keri Praznik (husband Michael), grandchildren, Kaley Norris, Garrett Praznik, Caroline, Landon, and Savannah Turner, brother-in-laws Terry Pool (wife JJ), David Pool, and Dan Pool (March), and sister-in-law, Zoe Turner.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Halls of Serenity Mausoleum.
A special Thanks to Dr. Reeti Joshi and Dr. Mark Fasulo for their committed care.
