

Ruby was born on July 15, 1923 in Hallettsville, Texas to her parents John and Annie Mary Fuller Einkauf, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are husbands, Arville J. Hensley, Robert G. Tolle, and fourteen brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughters; Janice Hensley, Sandra Hockett and husband Mark all of Nederland, son; Richard Hensley and wife Delores of Beaumont. Also surviving are grandchildren Bryan Hockett and wife Elizabeth, Stephen Hockett and wife Stacy, Deanna Abate and husband Lance, Amy Morgan and husband Brad, Sam Plake and wife Lindsay, Abbey Carter and husband Chris, Jacob Hensley and wife Becky, and Cody Hensley and wife Brandy, twenty-four great grandchildren and one on the way, two great great grandchildren and one on the way also, and many numerous nieces and nephews.
During her working part of her life she was a civilian airplane mechanic in World War II on the fighter planes and this is where she met her first husband Arville J. Hensley and became a very devoted loving housewife and mother. Ruby was a sixty-five year faithful member of South Park Baptist Church in Beaumont. She was a premier porcelain arts instructor, an extremely talented artist with oils, water colors and also was an outstanding cake decorator, and seamstress who actually made wedding dresses for her daughters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 5:00 PM-7:00PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
