Sarah Ellen Brammer Adams died Friday, October 25, at the Haven at Windermere in Baton Rouge. She was 96 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, W.F. Adams. The funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas, on Monday, October 28, 2013, with visitation at 1:00 P.M. and the service at 2:00 P.M.Mrs.Adams was also preceded in death by her parents Samuel Abraham Brammer and Mary Etta Ash Brammer,four brothers Boyd Brammer,Olen Brammer, Leon Brammer, Chalmus Brammer and her beloved cousin J.C. Brammer. Mrs. Adams is survived by her loving daughters and their husbands, Barbara and Phil Zeigler and Adrienne and Lloyd Smith; grandsons and families, Rob and Jamie Henzmann and daughter Madyson, Scott and Angela Zeigler and children Nathan and Kate Kratzberg, Wil and Monique Henzmann and sons Liam and Caleb, and Jeremy Zeigler and Danielle Wyble and daughters Rion, Ava, and Mia. Mrs. Adams was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. Before that, she was a longtime member of Woodland Baptist Church in Beaumont, TX. Her family wishes to express appreciation for the loving care given to Mrs. Adams by the staff at The Haven, where she had been a resident for six years and to Hospice Compassus.
