I am also a Radiology Technologist. I worked with Sara Jane in Beaumont. She was working for a Radiologist. I worked in the building next door. I saw her daily when I took x-rays to be read. We became good friends. I later found out she new my oldest sister, Wanda. They went all through school together. Sara Jane knew my parents too. We have often been in touch on Facebook. I was saddened to learn of her death this past week. She will be missed.

I had known your Mom since we moved to Washington Street in 1965. Remember Rene as a toddler with Buddy and later Matt . Always loved your Mom and Dad. Your Dad was so kind and very quiet and then Sarah Jane— loved her— she always spoke her mind, a person after my own heart! Loved being around her as she liked the outdoors and knew so much about everything. Sending my love to Rene and Matt and families.

Dear Renee, Matt & family — I just saw your beautiful mother not to long ago at St Anne’s before mass. She talked to me all the way to the door (before COVID 😉) & as always a reminder of so much in our world that is beautiful. I’m very sorry to hear of her passing & ask that God provide all of you with an extra measure of love & compassion as you celebrate her life.

I am so very sad to hear of Sarah Jane's passing. My memories of her cover many years. When the LaBordes moved to Vidor my parents bought the Beaumont house Sarah grew up in so we both grew up in the same house at different times. We had many conversations about our Edwin Street experiences. Among my earliest memories was of the pretty girl and her future husband (Bobby) coming over for my dad to take pictures. It was years later when I really got to know Sarah. She was always so loving to my mother and kept in regular contact with her over the years. Her visits were always so appreciated. I still have the beautiful lighted church Sarah gave to her one Christmas. It will have special meaning for me this Christmas. Sarah Jane was a wonderful person and I feel very fortunate to have known her. I know how much her family will miss her. Much love to all. Jo (Woods) Latimer

Your Mom, has been a friend since grade school. We had just starting to visit again and going to eat a few years back! This was a shock to me! She will always be in my memories! Loved her dearly and a very special lady. We shared our love for cats! May God’s blessings be with all of you!
