Sarah Lauraann Griffin, 82, of Beaumont, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Beaumont. Sarah was born June 16, 1933 in Center, Texas to her parents Charlie DeFee and Ruby Pauline White DeFee who preceded her in death. She is also proceeded in death by her husband Harold Griffin and son Jack Joseph May.
Sarah is survived by her son James Griffin and his wife Carrie of Nixa, Missouri, daughter Gaile Letbetter and her husband Terry of Beaumont, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will be on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor James Griffin officiating.
