Sean Kelly Daniel, 50, of Beaumont, Texas died Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Kiwanis Family House, in Sacramento, California. Born in Harris County, Texas, Sean grew up in the Magnolia/Tomball area. He has resided in Beaumont, Texas and surrounding areas for most of his adult life.
Husband, father, companion, Paw-paw, and friend to many. Sean enjoyed music, movies, NASCAR, sports, and the 49ers. Sean’s life was cut short after a 4 year battle with CNL and AML leukemia. Sean fought hard but his body was tired. He was under the care of the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento for the past 3 years, where he received excellent care.
Sean was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline “Jacqui” Brooks and his loving Paw-paw John Henry “Jack” Welch.
Sean is survived by his wife of 20 years, Marilyn Maddox Roach of Beaumont, Texas, step-sons Michael Maddox and Nadia of Somerset, California, Paul Roach and Felicia of Labelle, Texas, and his grandmother Eleanor M. Welch of Magnolia, Texas. Sean is also survived by his five grandchildren, Jasmine, Jade, Aidan, Sophia, and Mia Maddox, and his dog of many years Mystique. A special thanks to the Kiwanis Family House, their staff, friends, and volunteers for helping Sean and his family in their time of need, throughout his treatments. “They have truly been a gift from God.”

A Gathering to Celebrate the Life of Sean will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Saturday, July 14 at 11:00 am.
