Sharon Campbell Jones, 76, of Lumberton, died Thursday, February 13, 2025. A native of rural Anderson County, she lived in Lumberton since 1984, having lived in the greater Golden Triangle area since 1969, and retired from Lamar University as an Engineering Scholarships and Co-op Admin. Sharon enjoyed gardening, crocheting, lunches with her Lamar Ladies, and was always in the company of her canine children including Yucky, Lucky and her final puppy dog and companion Rosie. You could frequently find her sitting on the front porch enjoying the view of the lake and conversation with whoever was sitting with her. And a frequent pastime was to go estate sale and antique shopping, often with visiting family members (“the girls”). During quiet times she enjoyed reading and playing solitaire on her iPad.
