Shelbee Wilhelm

Shelbee was born in Beaumont and lived in Vidor, until graduating from Vidor High with honors in 2014. She was attending Lamar University where she was working toward her degree in Cardiac Sonography. She worked in Beaumont as the General Manager of Eddie's Tavern for several years before accepting a position General Manager position at Hooters.

Shelbee was a bright light. Her incredible spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. She had a smile that was genuine and her laugh was contagious. Everyone that she loved knew a love that only she could give. Everyone she befriended knew they had a lifelong friend.

A Celebration of Shelbee's Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at MCM Elegante, 2355 I-10 South, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at MCM Elegante, 2355 I-10 South, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

Shelbee left behind her husband James D. Segura, her parents, Roy Wilhelm, and Nicole and Brad Burrows, her brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, grandmother and grandfather, nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and an immense group of friends.

Although her loss has been devastating, we know Shelbee's wishes would be for us to honor her life with love and laughter, and carry her memory with us, with the knowledge that she was too well loved to ever be forgotten.
