She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Headlee, husband, Lanny Brister, and one son, David Brister.
She is survived by her father, Oris Headlee of Beaumont, one son Danny Brister of Lumberton, one brother, Robert Headlee and wife Janet of Fredricksburg, Virginia, and a host of family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will begin on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 12-2 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
