I am very sad to learn about Shirley. We grew up as neighbors and classmates. We rode the school bus together, had slumber parties and shared rides going to college in Beaumont. Recently, we were able to reconnect on Facebook. I was hoping to see her at our 50th class reunion in the spring. I am proud to call her a friend.

So sorry to hear of Shirley's death. I had recently connected with her on facebook and was looking forward to seeing her at our 50th reunion. I visited her childhood home many times and rode "Diamond." I still carry a vivid memory of being thrown from Diamond and it was the beginning of many "throws." All with great memories of a fantastic ride. Shirley had such a sweet, kind & loving personality, I know she will be missed. I pray that your heart is filled with cherished memories of her gift of life.

When we were in school, since my last name was Breaux and Shirley’s last name was Browne, and they put us in a row alphabetically, I sat by Shirley a lot. I remember a red haired, smart, funny young girl who was always nice to me.
Rest In Peace, sweet Shirley.

I read this and I didn't realize you would be gone so fast. You were a sweet and funny woman. I know sometimes people didn't understand the love you had for your animals...but the animals did. Be in peace Shirley it's finally time to rest. Bless you ❤️

My deepest condolences to the family. I grew up down the street from Randy and Shirley in Richmond, Tx. They were like my extended family and they gave me my love for horses. In fact, I had two of their Thoroughbreds over the years.
Randy, you will be in my prayers during this difficult time.
Love, Cristine Schmidt
