Spencer William Jones, born on May 7, 1953, to Rebel Byrum and Nellie Sherman Jones in Beaumont, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his Fiancé, Gail Baker of Brenham, TX, son, Jeffrey Rebel Jones, daughter, Julie Lane Ferguson and Grandson Liam Ferguson all of Houston. He is also survived by his sister, Pattie Jones and nephews, Jay and David Gibson all of Nederland and grand nieces and nephews.
Spencer grew up in Beaumont and graduated from French High School and attended Lamar University. He was employed in sales in Beaumont, Houston and later in the Brenham area. Spencer was employed with Teminix International in the Brazos Valley for the last several years. He was also very active with the Brenham Elks Lodge #979. He was a trustee and had also served as Chaplain and on the house committee. He was respected and well loved and he will be deeply missed.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
