Stephanie Strohmann Reyes

Stephanie Strohmann Reyes, age 68 of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 PM with a 7:30 rosary service on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Stephanie was born on February 28, 1946 in New York City, New York to Rosita Colasurdo Strohmann and Harold Albert Strohmann. She attended Lamar State College in Port Arthur. Stephanie served in the United States Marine Corp from 1964 – 1968, followed by service in Marine Corp Reserves. She was a Sergeant at the time she left the service. She was also a volunteer with Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Albert Strohmann and her son, Michael Reyes.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Tony Reyes, her children - Celina Doyle married to Todd Doyle; Erica Warner married to Richard Warner; Joseph Reyes married to Orfa Reyes; Daniel Reyes married to Sara Reyes; and Adam Reyes, her mother Rosita Strohmann, and her siblings - Christina VonToussaint, Steven Strohmann, and Harold Eric Strohmann. She had 15 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas.
