Theodore was born February 26, 1927 in Goss, Louisiana to Robert and Lela Westmoreland. He grew up in Louisiana and graduated from Oak Grove High school. After graduation Ted enlisted in the Army and served in World War II. He married his wife Edna in 1949 and had 1 child Tammi. Ted worked at Union 76 for over 30 years and retired the same day with his wife Edna in 1986.
Ted was an avid water skier, enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, playing golf, wood working, gardening, and picking the guitar and singing. Ted and his wife Edna were members of The First Neches Ski Club. Ted was a member of the Masonic Lodge for a number of years. Ted always loved being outside working on different projects from building birdhouses, building boats, planting a garden, or mowing the yard. Ted also loved telling stories to his family about how it was when he was growing up.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. Memorial services are not scheduled at this time.
Theodore preceded to death with his wife Edna, parents, Robert and Lela Westmoreland, and his 8 siblings.
Ted survived by his daughter, Tammi Choate, grandchildren, Whitney Choate, Chris Baker, and great grandchildren, Hannah Baker and Gavin Baker.
