OBITUARY

Timothy "Tim" Patrick Fitzhugh

May 9, 1960 – October 6, 2021
Obituary of Timothy "Tim" Patrick Fitzhugh
IN THE CARE OF

Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park

Tim was born May 9, 1960 to Ovie and Hazel Fitzhugh in Odessa, TX. Tim spent his childhood and teenage years in Freer, Alvin, and Houston, TX.

Tim had three children: Melissa, Dylan, and Haylie who he loved dearly. He had a special bond with each of his children and was incredibly proud of them.

He lived most of his adult life in Southeast Texas where he participated in bowling leagues, pool tournaments, and many rounds of golf. He especially enjoyed golfing with his grandson, Dalton. Tim was an avid sports fan. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros.

Tim moved to Las Vegas in 2007 and worked at the Stratosphere until 2020. Living in Las Vegas was a perfect match for Tim who had a zest for life and an outgoing personality. He never met a stranger and could make a connection with anyone he met. His friends often became lifelong friends. This could be attributed to his outgoing nature and easy going personality. He was a caring man who was never quick to anger. Tim was a confidant and listening ear to his family and friends.

Survivors include: daughter, Haylie Fannin and her husband Tanner; son, Dylan Fitzhugh; grandsons, Dalton Lopez and Weston Fannin; brother, Richard Fitzhugh and his wife Susan; nieces and nephews, Kelli Blanchard, Brian Fitzhugh, Brandi Meyer, Chad Fitzhugh, Cari Ann Fairweather; many great nieces, nephews other friends and relatives.

Preceding Tim in death were his daughter, Melissa Lopez and her unborn son Landon; parents, Ovie & Hazel Fitzhugh and his brother, Jerry Fitzhugh.

A Celebration of Life Party for Tim will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Max Bowl East, 720 Ward Road, Baytown, TX 77520.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
