Kenneth retired from the local IBEW as an electrician. He proudly served as a member of the local IBEW for an impressive 65 years, contributing to the establishment of IBEW Federal Credit Union.
Kenneth's interests extended beyond his work. You could always find him working and tinkering on projects; especially his VW beetle, El Camino, VW bus, his swimming pool, and building fires in his fireplace. Kenneth was an avid antique collector. Kenneth loved watching tennis matches and poker games on T.V. with his wife Anita. And he truly cherished his time spent and card games with his dear sister Jane. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach and fishing with his family.
Kenneth was a loving husband to Anita Luquette for over 40 years. Family was paramount to him, especially his son Gregg Luquette and his grandson Blake Luquette, whom he loved dearly, along with his great-grandson Cooper Luquette.
Left to honor his memory is his grandson Blake Luquette and wife, Brittany of Sour Lake, Tx; Sister, Jane Johnson of Beaumont, Tx ; Great grandson, Cooper Luquette. And many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Victor and Jewel Luquette, his loving wife Anita Luquette, his son Gregg Luquette, and siblings David Luquette, Edmund Luquette, and Beverly Lontz.
A visitation in Kenneth's honor will be held at the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 4955 Pine St., Beaumont, TX 77703 on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm. His resting place will be Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
