She had two brothers, Bobby Glenn, and Henry James (Jim) Mallory, and one sister, Emily Jeanette Everette.
She loved Jesus and her life reflected this love in the way that she lived. She was a blessing to her family, friends, and community. She loved her children very much, in addition to her faith community. Welda enjoyed nature, gardening, animals, hummingbirds, and springtime.
She married Thomas James Jones on August 25, 1960, and settled in Beaumont, Texas. Soon after, they started a family which grew to include four children, Monty Jones, Lynlie Jones, Mollye Solomon, and Marva Jones.
Our precious, sweet, and wonderful Mother went home with Jesus Wednesday morning, December 22, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mother, Father, and Siblings.
She is survived by her four Children, eight Grandchildren, eight Great-Grandchildren, and one Great- Great-Grandchild. Her Grandchildren: Slade Jones, Zachary Jones, Sarah Dawson, Jessica Yakesch, Audrey Hinson, Spencer Leeper, Amy Page, and Ryan Leeper. Her Great-Grandchildren: Kail Jones, London Landrum-Ceron, Caroline Jones, Audrey Alford, Landon Hinson, Scarlett Hinson, Damion Guidry, Daniel Page, and Chandler Moore. Her Great-Great Grandchild: Paisley Guidry.
