William J. Aycock, age 90, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Lufkin, TX. Services will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Mr. Aycock was born Port Arthur, Texas on November 13, 1922. He served in the United States Navy and was a Baptist. He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge #1163 of Port Neches, TX. Mr. Aycock retired from Reed Company as a sheet metal fabricator.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Runkle Aycock, a son William “Ricky” Richard Aycock, his parents John Cecil and Katherine M. McFarland, four brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include two sons; Robert E. Aycock and his wife Judy A. of Bridge City, TX and Steve R. Aycock and his wife Shelia of Bon Weir, TX. One sister, Shelton Kay Boudreaux of Nederland, TX. Eleven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
