Willie Mae Horelica

Mrs. Willie Mae Horelica, age 93, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 in Beaumont, Texas. Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ruby Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2014.

Mrs. Horelica was born on March 3, 1921 in Lueders, Texas. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Willie Mae was a homemaker; she enjoyed sewing, growing flowers and getting together with family. She loved her grandkids and great grandkids, always keeping up with their lives and activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Mae Fickel, one brother, O.J. Fickel and one sister, Blanche Fickel.

She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Willie E. Horelica. Two sons, Billy Horelica and his wife Patricia of Fannett, TX and Mark Horelica and his wife Susan of Lumberton, TX. Five grandchildren; Steve Horelica, Melissa Dubois, Matthew Horelica and his wife Missy, Jessica Shannon and her husband Kenny and Erin Cleveland and her husband Justin. As well as eight great grandchildren.
