Wilmer Ellen Pevito Sauls

Wilmer Ellen Pevito Sauls, 93, of Vidor passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. Wilmer was born September 26, 1918, in Jefferson County, Texas to Noel Pevito and Jewel Louise Langham Pevito.

Wilmer married Buel Leon Sauls, Sr., June 4, 1935, and enjoyed their lives together until his death in 1981. They had four children, Mary Virginia, Shirley Louise, Lois Marie and Buel Leon, Jr... Wilmer retired from South Park I.S.D. as a cafeteria manager for Pietzsh Elementary School.

Wilmer was preceded in death by her husband, Buel Leon Sauls, Sr. and daughter, Lois Marie Hebert.

Wilmer is survived by her daughters, Mary Virginia Tucker of Lumberton and Shirley Louise Davis and husband Bill of Nederland; son, Buel Leon Sauls, Jr. and wife Vickie of Richmond. Grandchildren, Cathey Browning and husband Dennis, Barbara Shepherd and husband Keith, Janice Gallier, Frank LeBlue, Jr., Cindy Maurich and husband Johnny, Tina Krenning and husband Paul, Cecil J. Hebert, Jr. and wife Kay, Angela Rowsey and husband Don, Buel (Skipper) Sauls III and wife Libby and C.R. Sauls and wife Amanda; 24 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 10 a.m., at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont.
