At the age of 6 she came to Portland to live with her aunt. She attended Chapman Elementary and graduated from Commerce High School (now Cleveland). She worked at Good Samaritan Hospital until her marriage to Dr. Boles P. Thomas.
Survivors include her son Chet Thomas and his wife, Judy; daughter, Nancy Nordwall and her husband, Jonas; grandchildren, Aaron Thomas, Genevieve Keller and Chris Nordwall; 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving is Chuck's close companion, Donna Manning. Annabel was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Boles P. Thomas, and her son Charles Thomas.
Mass of Christian Burial will be May 5, 2012, at 2 pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3525 SW Patton Rd., Portland, Oregon. Private family burial will be May 9, 2012, at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Portland.
