Arthur "Tom" Thomas Cavanaugh III

In his younger years, Tom graduated from high school in 1968 and went on to obtain an Associates degree from the Oregon Institute of Technology in June of 1977. Tom enjoyed a career as a land surveyor for many years after his completing his education.

Tom will be remembered for his vibrant personality and his love for the outdoors. He was a social and friendly individual who always found joy in connecting with others. Tom had a passion for dancing, especially to live music. He was an avid fan of the Grateful Dead, and had an extensive collection of Grateful Dead tee shirts. Additionally, he found great pleasure in supporting his favorite sports teams, the Ducks and the Blazers.

Tom's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a zest for life. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mac and parents Tom and Elizabeth. Arthur is survived by his loving children, Chris and Tom Cavanaugh, and Katie Cavanaugh, as well as his cherished grandchildren and his sister, Ann Cavanaugh.
