Barbara (BJ) Barnes, 95, long-time resident of Beaverton, passed away March 20, 2016 in Fountain Valley, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband John M. Barnes Sr., and her son John M. Barnes Jr., and is survived by her daughter, Jane (Barnes) Nielsen, four grandchildren and eight great-grand children. In 2001 she relocated to Southern California to be near her daughter.
Visitation will be from 10 to noon on Saturday, April 2 with services to follow at 12 p.m. at Pegg, Paxson Springer Funeral Chapel in Beaverton.
