Benedicto Bolisay Gonzales Jr.

Benedicto Bolisay Gonzales Jr., age 55, of Beaverton, Oregon passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Ben was born sept. 10, 1967 to Benedicto Delda Gonzales Sr. and Angelica Pascual Bolisay, in Malabon City, Philippines.

Ben attend elementary and high school at San Beda University, Mendiola, Metro Manila Philippines. He earned his degree at De La Salle University, Taft Avenue, Metro Manila, Philippines were he was a volleyball varsity player. He graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Ben began his career working for Singer Sewing Machines, and later Honda. He later began to work abroad in 1995 at Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia and in 1997 was recruited by Computer People Co. in the USA after that the rest is history; In the U.S. he worked for 20 years through several different companies, most recently he worked with JP Morgan Chase Co.

Be liked to play volleyball, go for walks, riding his bike, and playing billiards and chatting with friends

Ben is survived by his wife for 30 years Nymia Alfonso Gonzales; and blessed with 3 children Michael A. Gonzales, Mariella A. Gonzales and Charles Benedict A. Gonzales; father Benedicto Sr; mother Angelica; and sister Marilou

A memorial service for Benedicto will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5105 SW Franklin Ave., Beaverton, OR 97005.

In lieu of flower, memorial donation may be sent to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
